I got a inquiry from a customer who was interested in one of our trade show booths with pegboard panels.



Their products are employee time clocks. Instead of hanging on hooks, each product is mounted with screws and

connected to a power outlet so customers can see it working during the show.

Before placing the order, they had a couple of questions.


The first question was about the pegboard holes.

Our pegboard panels have 10mm holes, but the screws on their products were smaller than the holes. At first they thought this might be a problem.

I suggested using a washer between the screw and the pegboard. The washer gives the screw a larger surface to hold onto, so the product can be mounted securely. It turned out to be a very simple solution.




Their second question was about the layout.

They only needed to display four products and tow products on one pegboard. They wanted to use just two pegboard panels, and they wanted them installed at specific heights.

I explained that this wouldn't be a problem. Our pegboard booth can be installed with two or three panels, and the height can be adjusted using the clamps during setup. That gives customers a lot of flexibility depending on what they're displaying.

After we talked through everything, they felt comfortable moving forward and placed the order.



 

There was one small hiccup along the way.

Our standard shelf support doesn't normally include base plates. For this customer, I added two base plates at no extra charge because the products are heavy for their display. However, I forgot to let our production team remove the two black end caps from the hardware.

When the customer received the shipment, they thought we had sent the wrong parts. Fortunately, it was just a misunderstanding. After a quick explanation, everything was sorted out without any issues.

Overall, the project went very smoothly from start to finish, and we're grateful for the customer's trust and support.
