A customer asked me this week:

"Can you make a 10ft x 8ft pop up backdrop? What about a 16ft x 10ft one?"

The short answer is yes, we can.

A lot of people don't realize that pop up displays are built from folding frames made up of individual sections. In our industry, we usually refer to them as 3x3, 4x3, 4x4 and so on.

For example, a standard 10ft x 8ft pop up backdrop is usually a 4x3 frame. If you want the display to be 10ft tall instead of 8ft tall, it would typically become a 4x4 frame.

Can we make a 16ft x 10ft display? Usually yes, but it depends on the frame configuration and availability.

The biggest difference between standard and custom sizes is that custom frames are not normally stocked in the U.S. warehouse. Most of the time they need to be produced specifically for the project. Because of that, the cost is higher and production takes a little longer.

Typically, custom pop up displays add about one extra production day compared to standard sizes. From artwork approval to delivery, most projects take around 8 business days.
